Staff tips for navigating the Fair like a pro!

Yay! The 2018 Fair is almost here! But between admission tickets, parking, rides, food, drinks, concerts and shopping, we all know a day at the Fair can add up to big bucks, fast. But have no fear, with a little pre-planning, there so many ways you can save money and do it for less if you just know where and when to look. Our team members have put together a list of the best ways to do the Fair for less. Whether you plan to go a single day, or all 18, you can save a bundle with these super deals & strategies:

Go on Opening Day – Friday, June 15

Besides the sheer fun and excitement of going to the Fair on opening day, admission and rides are just $1 until 5PM! Better yet, make your way over to the real live Cattle Drive on Main Street Pleasanton that morning. While you’re there enjoying the amazing spectacle, be sure to pick up some of the totally FREE tickets being given out by participating merchants (while supplies last.) And tickets are good for ANY day of the opening weekend! Visit http://annual.alamedacountyfair.com/cattle-drive/
